Past Projects

Projects for 2013

The wide range of projects completed by past participants has resulted in tangible, positive impacts throughout the Niagara Region. They range from introducing local produce into school breakfast programs and encouraging senior fitness programs, to developing a micro loan program and building a community garden.

Autism Ontario

LN will develop an ASD Employer/Employment Program that supports adults who are impacted by ASD.

Habitat for Humanity

LN will create marketing, web and social media materials and offline/online strategies and tactics to increase Habitat’s community engagement and collaboration efforts. In addition LN will help to revise, design, develop and distribute an educational/fundraising program called Nickels for Nails, which is aimed at elementary schools with scalability to high schools, universities and colleges.

Mainstream Services

LN will work with Mainstream Services to build an engagement plan with its goal to build relationships through their graffiti removal program with new community and businesses to eventually expand the program.

Niagara Furniture Bank

LN will develop a new marketing and branding strategy for the organization. This will include a new logo that would reflect a maturing organization as well as a signature fundraising event to raise awareness as well as funds.

Project Share

LN will construct a multiyear strategic planning program for all staff and volunteers. Our LN leaders will plan the program; facilitate two sessions and ensure its sustainability.

YWCA

LN will build a multiyear strategic marketing and branding awareness plan that will help to educate the community on the YWCA and build brand recognition for the organization
