Bryan is passionate about philanthropy and has fostered a deep and broad spectrum of experience during his 20+ year career in the charitable sector. Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Niagara Community Foundation – a role that he has held since the Spring of 2016. His professional journey began at his alma mater, Ridley College, in a number of roles, including Director of Annual Giving and Acting Director of Development. Bryan also spent two years as a Senior Development Officer (Major Gifts & Capital Campaign) with the Mohawk College Foundation.

He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Western University’s Huron University College (2000) and a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph (2014).

A life-long resident of Niagara, Bryan has deep roots in the community, with a strong network of professional contacts and personal connections across the Region and beyond. He is a skilled team leader who believes in building enduring, genuine relationships rooted in personal integrity and a shared spirit of philanthropy.

Bryan and his wife Andrea live in Beamsville, ON with their eight-year-old daughter and six-year-old son.

Created in 2000, the Niagara Community Foundation has over $73 million in endowment assets; granting over $21 million to charities working in the arts, heritage, environment, social services, health, education, recreation and community development throughout the Niagara Region. The Foundation is fully accredited with the Imagine Canada’s Standards Program which is designed to strengthen public confidence in the charitable and non-profit sector.
