A Fond Farewell – Official Announcement of Shane Malcolm’s Departure

Our Board Director’s Official Announcement to the Community

As they say, all good things must come to an end and so it is with mixed emotions that the Leadership Niagara Board of Directors, Program Advisory Committee and community bid our Executive Director, Shane Malcolm, a fond farewell.

Shane has been the deeply committed, charismatic face and voice of Leadership Niagara for over four years. During that time, he supported the learning journeys of 142 LN graduates, commemorated the organization’s 10th anniversary, spearheaded our nonprofit incorporation, launched a new brand identity and spearheaded the transition to online learning, to name a few.

We are grateful for all that Shane has done to further embed LN within the greater Niagara community and to help prepare the organization for the future.

We are grateful for all that Shane has done to further embed LN within the greater Niagara community and to help prepare the organization for the future.

While Shane is stepping down from his role as Executive Director to pursue a new opportunity at another non-profit, he will remain a part of the LN family, acting as a facilitator for one of our Learning Days.

With the support of our highly engaged Board of Directors and Program Advisory Committee, LN’s programs and services will continue uninterrupted and an interim Executive Director will be announced shortly.

Please join me in thanking Shane for all of his hard work and wishing him the very best as he pursues his next great adventure.
