2022 ACL+ Guest Speaker Zainab Awad

Zainab Awad will be a guest speaker for the Accelerate Civic Leadership+ Learning Day 3a: Navigating and Influencing Community Systems Transformation. She will be speaking about ‘Navigating Systems: DEI Lens.’

Zainab is the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist at Niagara Health. She has extensive experience leading and participating in community development projects involving policy analysis, program planning, and health promotion.

Zainab Awad graduated from Brock University with a Master’s degree in Public Health. She has previously worked for the Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre as a Mental Health Program Coordinator and has served as a Board Member for Contact Niagara, for Children’s and Developmental Services.
