I see civic leadership in someone that aspires to make a difference in their community by the tackling issues and concerns for the betterment of society.
As a resident of the Niagara region since 1999, I have a desire to give back to the community that provides a great place for my family to grow, learn and work. I’ve seen many positive changes in our community thanks to work that other civic leaders have provided. I want to be part of Niagara’s civic leaders and continue to improve our community for the future.
While many attributes contribute to the holistic representation of leadership, I find tremendous value in confidence. For me, the confidence of a leader not only reassures those who follow but in many ways it intrinsically supports all the other attributes needed to lead through influence.
