Learning Day 4a

Carole Fuhrer is the Executive Director of Community Care of West Niagara, a charity specializing in emergency hunger relief and housing stability.

Over the past 10 years, she has directed initiatives that alleviate the effects of poverty, advocated for change that will prevent poverty, and engaged people of all walks of life to become change agents in the community.

Carole’s background in Human Resources and Community Development lend themselves well to supporting CCWN’s mission of providing essential services and support to families and individuals in Lincoln that are facing economic hardship.

As an Alumnus of the Leadership Niagara Accelerate Civic Leadership Program, Carole is committed to continuous learning. She hopes to encourage positive change by developing her capabilities as an aspiring leader who cares about the community; who understands its strengths and opportunities, and who is willing to make a personal investment to improve West Niagara’s quality of life.

Community Care of West Niagara continues to be recognized as a community leader and valuable resource dedicated to fostering an abundant community for all. Carole believes she is very fortunate to work alongside a strong, confident team of staff volunteers and Board members dedicated to delivering quality services every day.
