How has Richardson Wealth supported leaders in their own organization and community?
Beyond sponsoring organizations like Leadership+ programs, our main method of supporting the next generation of leaders is through hiring and training coop students.
Before COVID, we would hire one coop student from a local high school or university/college. We help them learn more about the finance industry and mentor their career skills.
I myself was a coop student 12 years ago, so I understand the importance of mentorship. Our students do not always join the finance industry, but the skills they learned are transferable.
In what ways does Richardson Wealth support the Niagara community? (Programs, outreach, etc)
We supported local community groups and events. Over the last 12 months, we sponsored the Rotary Club of Niagara on the lake, Chinese Association of Regional Niagara, Bulletproof Baseball Academy in Welland and Veteran’s Salmon Derby.
What is Richardson Wealth’s hope for future leaders in our community?
We hope a more diversified group of leaders emerge in Niagara. We hope to see more women and minorities in leadership roles.
How can businesses and organizations like yours assist in building our community leaders?
We mentor young leaders one at a time via our coop students. We also sponsor local community events that bring people together.
